The Conservative Beauty.

So like Lizzo, everyone knows I am unashamed of my body. I used to think, “if you got it flaunt it”. Wear what you like, in as much as you are comfortable in it. This has been my excuse for every outfit. So what changed?

They say maturity is a thing of the mind, in as much as I love to flaunt these babies, I have grown to understand the beauty in conservation and the sex appeal in mystery.

Coming to this point was not an easy road. But if I were to go through this journey again, I won’t change a thing, because the experience was the best teacher and a belief heard won’t have much sway as a belief experienced.

Being labelled “orobo” all my life has let me down the strong head path to own my body and I guess I owned it too much for my good. lol. Anyways, I found dressing being a problem, because I secretly craved that small size and I have gone from various diets and exercise, just to get small and mostly what I achieve doing all this is staying healthy and keeping fit. I never went back to that size 10. Now, my new realistic goal is size 12.

Dressing up was a problem because all these designers, construct and frame to fit the small size and then take such designs, input a plus size measurement and call it a plus-size collection. When you buy them, they are unflattering and ridiculous. Anyways that besides the point.

All these insecurities about my size or the way I look in a dress, made me go over the top in finding outfits that fit and when they do I try to do a lot of cleavages reveal to take away the straight shapeless look from the clothes I wear to something sexy and that style stuck.

But when God just send someone into your life to show you how beautiful you are without the flaunt is amazing. So, I decided to try restructuring my wardrobe, not based on the general and popular fashion style, but my fitting and with less reveal. Believe me, my fashion sense went from 0-50 in no time.

Even the kind of people this new dressing style attracts is amazing. I am more comfortable with my style and more intuned with myself.

I feel more beautiful than I ever did and those who know me would tell you I am not even a jewellery person. so my style is now elegant and chic with great simplicity.

So, if you are like me, you do not need to wear shapeless mary amaka clothes, just because you are thick. you just need to find the style that fits you. You can google different styles, mix and match till you find yours. The goal is to look fabulous and sexy without revealing too much.

If you need help, you know where to find me.

Till next time, stay healthy, stay fresh and stay stylish. In a conservative way ; ).

My love for black and dark shades in amazing, I even got black henna on my nails now. When it comes to dressing, comfort is paramount for me and I’d always advise anyone “Do you!”

  4. Great!!! Conservative dressing doesn’t have to be boring but stylish in a matured, sexy and exclusive way that even the ‘lepa’ geng will be envious of ur extra flesh. The way you dress says a lot about your personality.
